Protective Film for Hardwood Floor
Floor / Multi-Use Protection film from Plasticover is an ultra-tough polyethylene film coated with a special adhesive to grip the surface and protect your floors or other smooth, hard surface from damage. Other protection film products on the market can be left down for only 30 or 45 days, but Plasticover offers a full 60 days of protection. Just roll it out, cut it off and you are done! When it is time to clean up, just peel up and recycle or dispose with no residue left behind.
How to Use Floor Protection Film
Temporary floor protection film can save you a lot of time and money during construction and renovation projects by keeping dust, debris, paint and other substances off of your hardwood floors. Protective film for floors by TapeManBlue is easy to install and remove. Just follow these basic steps:
- Remove the plastic cover surrounding the roll.
- Find the beginning of the roll. This will be marked with a blue tab. Unroll about 6-inches of film. Place the film at the beginning of your surface and firmly press down against the carpet to ensure it adheres.
- Continue unwinding the roll. Apply consistent pressure and smooth down the film as you go.
- When you have fully covered your desired area, carefully cut the film with a razor blade.
- Use a permanent marker to write the date somewhere on the film. Remove the carpet film within 45 days of application.
If you are covering a large surface area, TapeManBlue recommends using an applicator.
