The quality of adhesive tape is closely related to the adhesive used, and there are two standards for the use of adhesive: initial adhesion and persistence, which are inversely proportional.
Usually, tape with a adhesion force lower than 10 is less covered with glue, usually only about 20 microns, such as stationery tape and general promotional binding tape. The initial adhesion of normal sealing tape is between 15 and 20 microns, and the adhesive thickness of this type of tape is generally 22 to 28 microns. This is the thickness that meets the tape standard.
It is reported that most tapes on the market are mixed with impurities, so the thickness will increase. Generally, this is to cover up the impurities inside. Some tapes may also contain mixed colored powder, which is the colored tape we see, such as light yellow, green, red, etc. Generally, this type of tape is defective. Of course, some manufacturers also specialize in producing colored tape, so it is necessary to do a good job of identification.
